Education/Qualifications:

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Deakin University, as well as also being a student mentor at the University. I have worked at Core since February 2023 and have loved every second so far! Previously, I have been a volunteer netball coach where I learnt to develop my skills working with children. I am passionate about being a support worker and can’t wait for the future at Core!

Hobbies/interests:

I love to read, especially when I can be outside in nature and immerse myself in a good book whilst soaking up the sun! I’m a big sports fan and support Collingwood in the AFL (Go Pies!), and the Melbourne Vixens in Suncorp Super Netball. I also love playing netball myself and play for the Buningyong Bombers. I don’t have any pets but would absolutely love a dog one day, hopefully a Golden Retriever!

Tell us about yourself? Including what you like about being a support worker

I love to see people achieve the goals they have set for themselves. Being able to be a part of someone’s journey is a true honour and as much as I enjoy supporting people to learn and grow, I love that I learn just as much myself! Core has been an amazing opportunity for me to develop my skills as a support worker and I feel very grateful to be a part of so many incredible participants' lives.
